Course for children

In this course, participants will be introduced to comic books, a visual representation of storytelling that combines illustrations and text. The participants will recall a strong memory, regardless of the emotion (happiness, sadness, anger, etc.) they felt at the time, and turn it into a drawing.

Participants will begin the course by leafing through Corniche, a comic anthology compiling the works of illustrators and comic book artists. After developing a basic understanding of comics and how they can be presented in different styles, participants will create a story inspired by an object of their choice. They will finish their comic by adding colours and text to the illustrations.
