Sharjah Art Foundation announces the launch of the Children’s Summer Art School Exhibition on Saturday, 8 September 2018. The exhibition runs from 8 to 27 September.
Revolving around the theme of sound and everything related to sound in our lives, the exhibition will present works of sculpture in Sharjah Art Foundation’s Gallery 2, Al Mureijah Square. The talented participants in this exhibition, aged 10 to 15, come from several centres: Educare Institute of Technology in Ajman, Sajaya: Young Ladies of Sharjah and Sharjah Girl Guides.
The participants completed their sculptural works during a two-month course, which was held for the first time this summer and will be offered again next year. The aim of the course and the related exhibition is to assist young people in discovering, developing and displaying their artistic talents in order to enhance their self-confidence and provide them with a good start in the world of art.
