Overview

Book your tickets now to enjoy over 60 international award-winning and never-before-seen films at Sharjah Film Platform 3 (SFP3), Sharjah Art Foundation’s annual film festival celebrating the work of emerging and established filmmakers. Screening at select cinemas and online, the programme features short and feature-length narrative, experimental and documentary films, including the Middle East premieres of festival favourites and critically acclaimed works.

The film screenings take place at the Foundation’s contemporary open-air theatre Mirage City Cinema in Al Mureijah Art Spaces, the iconic space-age Flying Saucer, and the CINEMACITY IMAX in Zero 6 Mall, University City. Audiences can also enjoy the film screenings from the comfort of their homes on the festival’s online platform.

In addition to the film screenings, the festival offers an exciting public programme of online talks and discussions exploring relevant issues in film and a range of hands-on filmmaking workshops, led by industry professionals, that are suitable for both children and adults. The festival is also launching the SFP Industry Hub, a new professional programme that will support the work of local, regional and international filmmakers through training and other opportunities offered by industry professionals.
