Biography

Saâdane Afif’s commissioned writers and musicians to respond to his work, in a critique of artistic authorship.

His recent exhibitions include solo presentations at Museum für Moderne Kunst, Frankfurt, Germany (2012); Ludlow 38, New York (2012); Centre Pompidou, Paris, France (2010) and Witte de With Center for Contemporary Art, Rotterdam, the Netherlands (2008).

Group shows include La Maison Rouge, Paris (2012); Mori Art Museum, Tokyo, Japan (2011); Beirut Art Center, Lebanon (2011) and Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris (2010).
