Salem Rashid
b. 1991, Athens, Greece
Lives and works in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Conceptual artist Salem Rashid is creative director and founder of Dubai-based record label Bedouin Records and its subsidiary Bastakiya Tapes. Since its founding in 2014, Bedouin Records has released a total of 25 albums, some on vinyl and some on cassette. Presenting a bevy of talented contemporary artists, these albums have earned international acclaim in outlets such as Monocle, BBC Radio 1, Resident Advisor and The Wire. Recent projects include a two-day pop-up art installation and concert called Execute Trajectory at Alserkal Avenue, Dubai.


Isabelle Galet-Lalande (SASA)
b. 1994, Hong Kong
Lives and works between Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; Cannes, France and Sydney, Australia

Isabelle Galet-Lalande (SASA) is a French-Australian DJ, vocalist, filmmaker and writer. Joining Bedouin Records in 2016 while still a student at New York University Abu Dhabi, she currently splits her time between a weekly radio show, the feature film project Yellow Bus Asfar and event planning with Bedouin Records and Boogie Box. SASA's debut EP will be released on Dubai-based 971 Records later this year.


Daniel Prutnik (uplow)
b. 2000, Donetsk, Ukraine
Lives and works in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Daniel Prutnik (uplow) is a young producer from Kiev, Ukraine. In 2016, he launched 971 Records and is currently a close collaborator of Bedouin Records and an active member of the growing underground music scene in Dubai. In autumn 2017, Prutnik will move to London to further his career in music.
