Biography

Fatima Kaddumy (b. 1975, Nablus) is an activist who specialises in project management. In 2001, she co-founded the Nablus Old City Charity Society, a grassroots organisation to support the local community during and after the Second Intifada. Since then, Kaddumy has devoted herself to social activism, becoming a leading figure in advocating women’s and youth rights. She is the director of Bait al Karama, a social-cultural centre run by women, which she co-founded in 2010. She has been running summer camps and training programmes for children and youth in Nablus for more than 25 years. Recently, she collaborated with the Al Quds University and the An-Najah National University to train students in social work programmes.
