Biography

Originally from Morocco, refugee rights activist and Social and Health Assistant, Nabila Saidi (b. 1998, Casablanca) has called Denmark home for more than 20 years. Actively involved in the Asylum Dialog Tank (ADT), organised by artists Morten Goll, Joachim Hamou and curator Tone Olaf Nielsen (2008–2009), she played a key role in establishing the volunteer-run community centre Trampoline House. Saidi co-founded the first Trampoline House, which championed the inclusion of asylum seekers as experts in ADT's dialogues on asylum policy. Her food club project with refugee women, Sisters Cuisine, was showcased at documenta fifteen in Kassel, Germany (2022). Saidi continues her advocacy by organising demonstrations and through active participation in political events such as Folkemødet.
