Biography

Nisreen Abu Dail (b. 1976, Amman) is an artist and architect. Abu Dail received a BA in Architecture from Jordan University for Science and Technology and then moved to the United States in 2004, where she continued to develop her career as an architect and also studied art at the Corcoran Collage in Washington DC. Returning to Jordan in 2009, she founded naqsh collective with her sister Nermeen Abu Dail. In 2018, naqsh collective was one of the eight finalists for Jameel Prize 5 at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Their work has been exhibited in several museums and institutions, including the Jordan National Gallery for Art, Jameel Art Center in Dubai, Sharjah Art Museum and Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
