Overview
De-miners 1 is part of the series Found Objects, which depicts different cluster munitions that were collected after the 2006 war on Lebanon, as well as the crews that gathered them.
The works make use of printing techniques and rubber cuts, outlining the attractive aesthetics of these fatal shapes. This particular piece shows a member of a Norwegian NGO dedicated to demining cluster bombs as he uncovers a particularly tempting bomb.
