Overview

We are living in a world of complex relations in which many scenes reoccur and engulf us. Developing IT communications helps us to understand new relations in space and time as we simultaneously become conscious of the shortcomings of these categories. I pick my subjects from the vernacular of our daily lives. Those events may be of national or international importance; or depend on the images from folk, spiritual or mythological sources. It may be an occurrence, an incident from contemporary media or hidden pictures from behind the scenes. But I try to find the disparity and conjuncture of those events. In this way, my awareness and sensibility is raised. I am knocked sideways by these polarities and in that way I am forced to realign language and art. In this complex relation, materials and techniques lose primacy.
