THE WELCOME SHED, MODEL I, The Fresh Air Version, 2002
site specific installation with vinyl shed in sections: vinyl, wire, screws, plastic pot, electrical fountain, water, plastic container, plugs, leather, fur, fabric, chain and plexiglas street signs

Overview

"I have no moral Questions at all, as far as the direction is concerned. Other than a freedom to change the framework again and again - a marginal space where social and aesthetic exchange takes place. Within this framework, I specify an identity."

The suspended vinyl shed from the installation "Welcome Shed - The fresh air version, 2002", is presented as an absurd investigation of the functionality of the space and its social demands. A position with divided identity half way between the East and the West.
