The second stage in the study of painting and drawing, this course is designed to improve participants’ skills in drawing with pencil and charcoal and enhance their technique in painting with watercolours and acrylic paint. Participants will practise with a variety of subjects for still life paintings and produce drawings for gypsum sculptures with living models. They will also be introduced to some basic principles for drawing the human face and body and learn the monochrome technique.

The registration fee for each course is AED 500 per person for both morning and evening sessions. Materials are provided by Sharjah Art Foundation.
