Course Description
Pottery and ceramics combine fine arts and applied arts.
In this course, participants will learn about various methods for making pottery, for example, using either clay ropes or strips or a combination of both. They will make pottery works inspired by UAE heritage.
Participants will paint on glass and make ceramic moulds for a number of students' distinctive works. They will also learn about the methods for applying colour to pottery and ceramics as well as the addition of Arabic letters and decorative units to pottery or ceramic pieces.
