Biography
Artist Talks is an independent platform created and run by artist Sarah Almehairi that organizes and presents talks with creatives based in and/or affiliated with the UAE. The talks are organised as a biannual series, one held during the fall and the other in spring. Launched in April 2020, Artist Talks aims to provide a forum to initiate conversation, share practices and freely ask questions. Truly artist-focused, it seeks to connect creatives in an informal yet supportive learning environment. The platform also acts as an archive, housing recordings of the talks that can be easily accessed for future use.
