Biography
Tamara Barrage lives and works in Beirut. She received an MA in product design from ALBA, Beirut (2011) and an MA in contextual design at Design Academy Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Tamara’s work explores the tactile and sensorial characteristics of various materials. Using an array of experimental techniques, she explores how forms and textures provoke the senses, manipulate emotions and articulate memories. Barrage has exhibited at galleries and institutions such as Sursock Museum, Beirut (2016); Lebanese National Gallery, Beirut (2016); and Athr Gallery, Jeddah (2015).
