Franziska Pierwoss and Sandra Teitge have been staging performances related to historical meals since 2014. They involve artists, amateur chefs, writers, and researchers who investigate historical menus and their contexts, affirming the political dimension of the culinary. Using storytelling as a methodology of historical exploration, Pierwoss and Teitge have exhibited together in various mediums at Galeria OMR and MUAC, Mexico City (2017); Spielart Festival, Munich (2015); Beirut (2015); and Humboldt-Lab, Berlin (2014).

These artists were part of Sharjah Biennial 13.
