Susanne Pfeffer is the Curator of the KW Institute for Contemporary Art in Berlin, a position she has held since 2007 where she has realised numerous international group shows as well as solo exhibitions, including: Joe Coleman. Internal Digging, ... 5 minutes later, Richard Serra. Thinking on Your Feet, Renata Lucas, Cyprien Gaillard, The Recovery of Discovery and most recently, Seeing is believing. In 2006 she presented the exhibition Deutsche Wandstücke, Sette scene di nuova pittura germanica as a guest curator at the Museion Bolzano, Italy. In 2007 she presented works by Annette Kelm at the Biennale de Lyon, France and curated the exhibition Wystawa at the Museum for Modern Art in Warsaw, Poland. Since 2007 she has been a curatorial consultant at MoMA PS1 in New York, USA, where she curated exhibitions with Manon de Boer, Florian Slotawa and Kenneth Anger. For her Kenneth Anger exhibition, she was awarded the prize of the International Association of Art Critics United States Section (AICA USA) in 2009. Pfeffer has been a keynote speaker, given lectures and participated in numerous panel discussions at several cultural institutions across the globe.
