Biography
Travel-obsessed and polyglot, artist and cultural entrepreneur Sofiane Si Merabet has always been involved in projects reflecting on plural identities. From the digital platform TheConfusedArab (www.theconfusedarab.com), Si Merabet explores the ‘future of nostalgia’ concept. In parallel with his on-going questioning around themes such as memories, identities and diaspora, he has started to explore these themes through interactive installations. In the majority of his installations, Si Merabet interrogates emblematic spaces and their roles in human interactions.
