Overview

Adeela Suleman is the Coordinator of Vasl Artists’ Collective, Pakistan and a visual artist, working primarily in sculpture. She earned her BFA in Sculpture with Distinction from the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, Karachi, Pakistan (1999) and her MA in International Relations from the University of Karachi, Karachi, Pakistan (1999). Suleman has widely exhibited including in the Asia Triennial Manchester 11, Manchester Cathedral, UK (2011), Hanging Fire: Contemporary Art From Pakistan, Asia Society, New York (2009) and Signs Taken for Wonders: Recent Art from India and Pakistan, Aicon Gallery, London (2009). Suleman lives and works in Pakistan.
