The final session of a three-part roundtable titled Sharjah Biennials in Retrospect, this talk features John Akomfrah (artist, filmmaker), Eungie Joo (Curator of Contemporary Art, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art), Omar Kholeif (Director of Collections and Senior Curator, Sharjah Art Foundation), Amina Menia (artist) and Otobong Nkanga (artist). The speakers focus on the last four editions of the Sharjah Biennial and their impact on the contemporary art scene, both regionally and globally. The session is moderated by Aisha Stoby (curator and researcher).
