Signs and Transmissions: Decolonising the Architecture Exhibition

Adrian Lahoud, curator of the first Sharjah Architecture Triennial and Dean of the School of Architecture at the Royal College of Art, presented the keynote Signs and Transmissions: Decolonising the Architecture Exhibition. In this session, he discusses the challenges posed to architectural exhibition making in the context of the Global South. Drawing on the inaugural edition of the Sharjah Architecture Triennial, Rights of Future Generations, Lahoud also explores the way architecture exhibitions can respond to climate change as one of the legacies of colonialism.
