Biography

Founded in 2017, in narrative is an exploratory platform driven by curiosity. Unveiling urban narratives through workshops, research, exhibitions and beyond, it aims to create a movement of architectural observation and foster a greater understanding of the urban fabric of our cities.

The platform has also hosted workshops in the Gulf, including Daftar: Remapping School Memories, Doha (2023); Hawally Bound, Kuwait (2022); and City In Narrative, Manama (2017).

Among the talks presented by co-founders Sara Abdulla and Mishari AlNajjar are Architecture and Storytelling: Humanising Architecture through Storytelling, Liwan, Doha (2023); Placemaking, Architectural Storytelling, Design Majlis, Muharram (2023); If Walls Could Talk, Colab, Dubai (2020); Artists Talks, ASCC, Kuwait (2020); and From Needle to Thread, Zayed University, Dubai (2020).
