No Place Like Home

Overview

No Place Like Home is an experimental documentary shot on 16mm film. In this film Nikolaj Bendix Skyum Larsen explores urban expansion in U.A.E. from the point of view of the desert. The film opens at sunrise in the sand dunes of the desert. Over the course of the film the viewer sees how untouched landscapes are transformed into dystopian cityscapes.
