Presented at 16 venues across the emirate of Sharjah, SB15 brings together works by more than 150 artists from over 70 countries. Building on Okwui Enwezor's idea of the postcolonial constellation, the participating artists will offer instances of critical reimagination of the history as well as the present, alongside unique perspectives that interconnect regions, histories and practices. A robust programme of film, music and performance, to be announced later this year, will accompany the exhibition.
