Overview

Dear Sharjah Art Foundation friends and colleagues,

We have been closely monitoring the evolving situation regarding the new coronavirus with the health and well-being of our community and collaborators in mind. Following the guidelines of health officials, including a recommendation by UAE authorities to avoid large gatherings, we are acting out of caution to postpone the upcoming March Meeting, scheduled from 21 to 23 March 2020, until further notice.

According to the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, the immediate health risk from COVID-19 is considered low in Sharjah and the UAE. Accordingly, Sharjah Art Foundation and its exhibition spaces remain open during our regular public hours and the exhibitions Art in the Age of Anxiety, Tarek Atoui: Cycles in 11, and Zarina Bhimji: Black Pocket will be on view from 21 March as planned.

We encourage you to stay informed and visit https://u.ae/en/information-and-services/health-andfitness/2019-novel-coronavirus for the latest information and recommendations from the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention and the World Health Organisation.

Thank you for your ongoing support of Sharjah Art Foundation. We look forward to welcoming you to the Foundation soon.
