Overview

Sharjah Art Foundation’s courses and workshops for youth and adults offer opportunities for participants to enjoy and appreciate contemporary art within the context of Sharjah’s rich artistic heritage and dramatic landscapes. Designed for participants aged 17 and older, sessions are conducted in English and/or Arabic, depending on the needs of the group.

Sharjah Art Foundation is committed to making its programmes inclusive and accessible. Disability access symbols are included with all descriptions of the coursesto indicate their accessibility. It should be mentioned, however, that all activities can be accessible to all abilities as long as they are done under a caregiver’s supervision and guidance.

Current Programme

Spring 2023

During the Spring 2023 season, running from 01 May to 22 June at Sharjah Art Institute in Arts Square, participants can develop their skills in pottery, engraving and printing as well as drawing and painting. The participants will learn the concepts, theories, tools and techniques related to a wide range of art projects.
