The multimedia installation explores the life of domestic care workers in India using a combination of still-life paintings based on photographs, X-rays and sketches drawn by care workers of their tools.
In this work, Potnis creates an oneiric world that immerses the viewer in the daydreams and fantasies of caregivers and cleaners seeking mental solace from the physicality of their work.
