The artist speaks about her Sharjah Biennial 15 work ‘Ancestral Gratitude Bridge’ (2023), a 360-degree virtual reality film that immerses viewers in a world of calm, exhilaration and remembrance.
Accompanying works include ‘Sharing. Kindness. Gratitude. RESPECT’ (2023), a four-channel audiovisual work, as well as ‘My Grandmothers’ Light Shines Through Me’ (2022) and ‘Woman and Earth’ (2022), two complementary series of large-scale analogue portraits of Indigenous women.
